Last night the girls finished their dinners in record time and we got to go out and play at the park for awhile. Louie got to chase after the frisbee and the girls ran around the baseball diamond. Samantha really only ran about halfway around the diamond before becoming completely consumed with a hole in the pathway where the 2nd base used to be. She plopped herself right down in the dirt and started digging the hole deeper. Once that became a bore, she started to pour the dirt on to her legs. It was funny because as she’s pit-puttering around with the dirt, Chloe is running some serious laps around us! She must have ran about 7 or 8 times around before stopping. The light was beautiful and golden, and I loved getting out to take some pictures and capture some of the magic. With all the tantrums and screaming and whining going on with the girls lately, it’s nice to catch a glimpse of who they really are inside and not be distracted by all the”‘terrible 2′s”

Why do I always get “the look” and Jeff skates by as the favorite?

Chloe loved watching her shadow ride alongside of her…after uploading the picture and seeing it on the screen, it’s weird how it looks more like somebody walking with her instead of the shadowed reflection of Chloe riding her bike.
